Does anyone else just want a night in?
Going out with the girls and getting all dolled up is fab… if you’re in the mood that is.
Some nights we just really can’t be bothered (sorry gals). So if you’re really not feeling it tonight here are a few perfectly acceptable reasons to stay in and put your feet up.
Be honest you already had Netflix on standby, didn’t you?
Sleep. We need sleep.
This week has felt like the longest ever and you badly need a solid eight twelve hour sleep so you can face tomorrow. Take a nice long nap. You deserve it.
Your bank card needs a rest
Payday is still a long way off and your bank card is practically worn thin with all those transactions. It deserves a night off just as much as you do.
Small talk is horrendous
Especially when you get left with your best friend’s boyfriend’s cousin on a night out. There are only so many times you can comment on how busy the bar is. It’s painful and should be avoided at all costs.
The weather isn’t great
Wait is that a bit of rain? Sure you can’t go out in that your hair will be a state. That’s definitely indoor weather.
You only have a few episodes of your box set left
And you really can’t wait until tomorrow to watch them. If you stay in tonight you could finally get this season finished, potentially the next one as well…
You’ve nothing to wear
Sure your wardrobe is crammed full of clothes but there is nothing perfect for this particular occasion. Everything looks far too uncomfortable. That’s it you give up, pyjamas it is.
You’re on ‘antibiotics’
If the girls really won’t take the hint. There’s only one thing for it. Whip out the old antibiotics excuse. There’s no arguing with that. Time to relax with a good book. Perfect!
