Sienna Miller’s new version of ‘The Rachel’ haircut is beyond stunning

Watching Friends back in the day, everyone wanted to recreate Jennifer Aniston's smooth, shiny poker-straight locks, so much so that 'The Rachel' became a regular request in salons. Although boho waves have been the order of the day for a while now, that could be about to change thanks to Sienna Miller's latest look. The actress attended UNICEF's Project Lion event in New York earlier this week and since then a number of publications have pointed out the resemblance between her hair and Rachel Green's look. As Vogue points out, there's a resemblance between the two haircuts although Sienna's is definitely an updated version of the much-loved trend.

The most striking similarity between the two haircuts has to be the face-framing layers and of course body, volume and shine are all signature features of 'The Rachel'. However, Sienna's looks are kept bang up to date thanks to the centre parting and glossy platinum finish, unlike The Rachel which featured a side parting. We don't know about you but this particular comparison has us feeling very nostalgic and we're very much thinking about getting layers again, although maybe long layers rather than those of the chin-length variety...
