Add us as a preferred source on Google »Day in and day out, we hear and see a lot about what we should be putting on our faces to keep them looking youthful and radiant.
However, after what has felt like a very long winter, I've really started turning my focus and efforts towards my body care.
During the colder months when we're wrapped in layers and 90 per cent of our bodies remain hidden, it's easy to forget that it deserves and requires the same TLC as our faces - something I admit I have been guilty of.
While strolling through Jervis shopping centre one rainy weekend, I was drawn to an unassuming stand, one where I would uncover a body skincare gem.
Of course, now that I have what feels like baby-soft skin, I'm not going to gatekeep the wonder products that helped me to achieve it.
The name NeoLumo is made up of two words: Neo (New) and Lumo (Light), and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Like with all skin, a good body scrub is a good place to start to remove all the dead cell buildup.
The 2 Synergy Body Scrub gets to work immediately to exfoliate and polish the skin without drying or aggravating it.
The scrub is infused with natural oils and a synergistic combination of antioxidant vitamins C & E - two key ingredients that protect from environmental stress.
After one use, my skin felt silk-soft (you know the kind of hydration when water lands on your skin and sits in droplets? That kind), and that was before I even applied its partner in skin health, the Firming Shea Nut Body Butter.
The body butter is rich, but not so dense that it takes ages to massage into the skin and absorb.
Its consistency is creamy and light, without leaving a sticky or wet feeling.
Packed with Vitamin E, shea butter, and chamomile, the body butter hydrates and nourishes the skin while also keeping it supple and youthful-looking.
The combination of shea butter, chamomile, and vitamin E deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin while fighting free radicals to maintain a youthful complexion.
Both the scrub and butter come in two gorgeous scents; Ocean and Kiwi.
I'm not one to invest heavily in body care if I'm honest.
I'm even less likely to invest if I have never heard of a brand before buying it.
Skincare for my face takes up the vast majority of my money and efforts when it comes to maintaining youthfulness, but I admit, I have slept on body care.
However, NeoLumo has been the injection of hydration that I didn't realise my skin needed.
My self-tan glides on better and stays on longer and dry skin on my legs is no longer something I contend with on a daily basis.
Bumps and rashes caused by razors are also less visible, in my experience of using these products.
I also feel like taking the time to scrub and moisturise my entire body is actually a lovely and relaxing way to end a shower or a bath.
If you have been putting body care on the back burner, I would recommending trusting NeoLumo to put you back on it.
