Seven out of ten men admit they steal their girlfriend’s skincare products

Least shocking news ever.

Knew it.

In news that will come as a surprise to absolutely no woman who has shared a home with their boyfriend, lads are very partial to robbing their girlfriend’s skincare.

Over three quarters of men take their other halves’ products, a new survey has found.

Yep – 78 per cent prefer to grab whatever is in the bathroom rather than go and buy their own bits, according to the men polled by Olay.

Why can’t they just use their own?

Well, a third said that they accidentally picked up the wrong pot or bottle while cleaning their face (sounds fake but OK) while one in five said they believe products that are usually aimed at women are more effective than those marketed to men.

Somewhat comfortingly, the survey also found that lads are just as secure about their appearance as gals are.

Those surveyed mentioned wrinkles, dryness and sagging skin as their top beauty concerns.

Thinning grey hair and being overweight were also cited as common sources of worry for the men.

The research was conducted by Olay as it launches an ad campaign starring a man for the first time ever.

It’s another positive step for the brand which last month announced that it would be introducing refillable packaging in its range.

The Olay Regenerist Whip will be available in a recyclable pod to cut back on waste from this October.
