Talk about impressive.
Makeup, in my humble opinion, is an art-form.
And when I say this, usually people laugh and tell me I’m being ridiculous.
Well, my latest Internet discovery is proof that makeup is art… and I challenge you to disagree.
Now, I’m not comparing this to Picasso or da Vinci – but it is pretty damn impressive.
LA based makeup artist Lauren Mychal of Glam & Gore recently shared a video YouTube.
In this video, Lauren transforms herself into Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants using drugstore products.
When I say drugstore products, I mean a condom, a shower cap and nipple covers (among other items).
Lauren uses the shower cap to imitate Squidward’s bulging head.
And, obviously, the condom was used for his nose… with a beauty blender popped in for shape.
Genius.
Then, she applied the silicone nipple covers to her eyes, which was honestly kind of terrifying.
Eventually, her creation is complete.
The MUA reveals the finished product in a creepy, knife-wielding sequence with classical music playing in the background.
Enjoy never sleeping again, tbh.
The video, which Lauren shared on YouTube last week, has already been viewed 1.8 million times.
I’m impressed.
Thousands of fans were also impressed, commenting under the video.
“How do you kill it every time, TRUE talent. Wow.”
“This is great, you did an amazing job, no joke. I wasn’t sure if you could pull it off in the beginning, but I was obviously very wrong.”
Lauren is crazy talented!
