It’s one of the most renowned beauty brands.
If you’re a fan of cosmetics then you have certainly heard about The Ordinary.
The brand is infamous for its affordable range of products. In recent years it has been getting heaps of attention, and although the brand was originally a skincare line, people because obsessed with its foundation and makeup sets.
However, the founder of the company, Brandon Truxe, took to Instagram last night to say that the brand, along with its big sister company Deciem, will be shutting down until further notice.
And the reason behind the closure? Apparent “major criminal activity.”
In a video posted to the social networking site, Brandon said: “This is the final post of Deceim, which we will shut down all operations until further notice, which will be about two months.
“Almost everyone at Deciem has been involved in a major criminal activity which includes financial crimes and much other. You have no idea what a soldier I’ve been for more than thirteen years.”
He ended with: “It’s all ending now.”
In the caption of the video, he also wrote a lot of incomprehensible sentences, and called out some major Hollywood stars – although it’s not known what he’s calling them out for.
He said the business will be shut down for two months, so we’re going to have to wait to see how this pans out.
