Kendall Jenner’s makeup artist is offering free advice.
We’re all used to seeing Kendall Jenner’s gorgeous makeup looks on our feeds, but what we’re not as familiar with is seeing the hand that painted them.
Kendall’s make-up artist Mary Phillips also works for Hailey Bieber, J-Lo, Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian, and many more, and she has kindly dropped some of her expert tips for us to take with us into autumn and beyond.
Speaking to Glamour, Phillips revealed the secret behind that glowy, no-makeup look, and apparently, it’s all about skin prep and getting a good canvas to begin with.
She explained that drinking water is essential when it comes to having a natural glow. “You always want to make sure your skin is really hydrated and that you’re hydrated on the inside as well as the outside.”
“You can also take your moisturiser and tap it in on top of your makeup,” she explained.
“Sometimes over foundation, I’ll take a little bit of moisturiser on a fluffy brush and go in, instead of actually using the product; it kind of thins the foundation out and makes the skin look like skin again, and it rehydrates it,” the make-up artist explains.

However, for the post-make-up application touch-ups, Phillips reveals she loves using a ‘combination of cream highlighter and powder highlighter’ to achieve that effortless finish.
She also recommended using a cream highlighter on your cheekbones and even on the tip of your chin. Then go in with a loose or pressed powder highlighter that will ensure your makeup lasts.

Autumn Trends
The make-up artist, like many of us, is looking forward to the cozy embrace of autumnal colours and aesthetics.
But with so many trends emerging, it can be tricky to find what works for you.
When it comes to autumnal beauty trends, burgundy tones, warm browns, and deep brown mascaras are our go-to’s. However, it’s important to remember to embrace whatever feels good for you.
Some autumnal trends will boost your confidence, but others won’t be your cuppa tea and that’s perfectly fine.
