Davina McCall has hailed a budget-friendly skincare product as her secret to glowing skin.
The €6 product is sold across Ireland in pharmacies, chemists and supermarkets and Davina says it’s amazing for soothing her skin, clearing her pores and removing every bit of her makeup.
The Garnier Micellar Water Facial Cleanser is a cult product that burst onto the skincare scene in 2013 as an alternative to the shunned makeup wipe trend.
It is marketed as a quick and easy product that gets rid of daily dirt, makeup and SPF and after ten years on the market, the brand says one is still sold every four seconds.
Davina spoke about her obsession with the product during a YouTube video and said: “It’s to cleanse and it’s very soothing but the big thing is it takes off makeup brilliantly.
“At my age, I don’t want to be scrubbing and forcing make-up to come off.”
The vegan and cruelty-free formula in the Micellar Water Facial Cleanser is enriched with Micelle Technology and Botanical Glycerin.
It hydrates skin, nourishes the complexion and encourages a soothing and cooling effect.
Meanwhile, micelle agents work to capture makeup and impurities, seeking to reveal a clarified and refreshed visage.
