‘Shower shields’ to protect your makeup while you wash exist and oh my god

We've all worn makeup throughout the day and then topped it up to try and make it last the night too. Fortunately, there's now a tool that will make preserving your contour and smokey eye that bit easier when you need a wash. The Showrshield is a visor that you can wear over your face to stop your makeup running in the shower. It also promises to come in handy for people who need to protect their microbladed eyebrows or eyelash extensions while they clean themselves. Hell, even if you're just not great at keeping shampoo out of your eyes in the shower, this could be for you. The folks at Insider tested the Showrshield and said that it did in fact keep the face totally dry. It's the invention of a woman named Sheridan who said she came up with it "after standing in the shower countless times using my hands as a makeshift shield in an attempt to protect my previously applied makeup (that took me a considerable amount of time and not to mention money to apply)." Same.

"It saves me countless times when I'm in a rush or just want a shortcut in getting ready," she added.

Of all of this, our favourite thing about the Showrshield is without a doubt the arty black-and-white photography used to promote it.

The images are kind of sexy, kind of odd and would 100 per cent make you want to buy one.

A Showershield will set you back $14.95 (around €13.22) and looks like it'd be worth every penny.
