Update: 1/5/14 – 14.13pm
An inquest in Kent has heard that recent heroin use was likely to have played role in death of Peaches Geldof.
The Telegraph reports that her body was found by her husband and that “she was “slumped” on the edge of her bed in a spare room, with one legs dangling over the edge”.
Yesterday, British newspaper The Times reported that an inquest into her death would reveal that she died from a heroin overdose.
Sky News tweeted a photo of the newspaper’s front page, which carried the headline ‘Peaches Geldof Died Of Heroin Overdose’. Today’s inquest into the 25-year-old’s death is set to reveal further details of the presenter’s final moments following her death at her home in Kent in April.
In the hours before her death, Peaches had posted a photo of herself with mother Paula Yates to her Instagram account. Yates also died of a heroin overdose in 2000. Peaches, who has two sons, was buried last week.
