You’ll probably recognise the piece that keeps selling out at Zara

Cathy Donohue

It’s a classic.

You might have one and if you don’t, it’s definitely worth picking up one of Zara’s tweed jackets.

The tweed separate is inspired by the classic Chanel suit, first introduced by Coco Chanel in 1925 and nowadays, there are imitations all over the high-street.

According to Who What Wear, Zara’s version of the cropped boucle design is one of their biggest sellers at the moment.

Even better is the fact that there are a couple of options of the popular piece so even if one completely sells out, you have similar designs to choose from.

They’re priced around the €80 mark so they’re not cheap but when you apply the cost per wear theory, you get major bang for your buck.

Sequinned tweed jacket, €69.95

Zara frayed tweed jacket with pearls, €79.95

Frayed jacket, €79.95

Go for a low-key look with jeans and a tee but the jacket works equally if you want to dress up… over a little LBD, with a midi skirt, paired with tailored pants.
