Yes, that’s right, an Irish version of Say Yes to the Dress is happening.
The TLC reality show is perfect Saturday morning TV and whether you’ll admit it or not, it’s guilty pleasure viewing for more than a few of us.
Anyway, if you’ve ever secretly wanted to try the Kleinfeld experience for yourself, RTÉ is giving people the chance with a new series modelled on the popular show airing in 2018.
The ten-part series will be filmed in a new Irish bridal shop where brides-to-be will get the chance to try on wedding gowns from international and homegrown designers.

It might be cheesy but we’re very excited and if the success of the American version is anything to go by, there’s going to be huge competition for a place on the reality show.
If you want to get involved, or know a family member or friend who would jump at the chance, you’ll get more information here.
