It's heartbreaking. Why do our sisters across the Irish Sea get all the fun?
Crafty shoppers that we are, though, we've long been aware of services like Parcel Motel and how they can get around the problem for you, by assigning you a local delivery address in the UK. The company will then forward your delivery to your nearest nominated Parcel Motel.
It's quick, it's clever and it can even save you a fortune if you take advantage of the free UK delivery options. Until now we've operated on a trial and error basis, but this weekend the good folks at PM have provided a list of the retailers you can unlock. These shops don't deliver to Ireland... but why should that stop you shopping?
Here are some of the service users' favourites:
Amazon (as certain marketplace sellers or products are not available to ship to Ireland)
Apple UK
TK Maxx
Versace collection, dark green leather - RRP £1,010 - now £299.99
MAC
ALDO
The Body Shop
Shea body butter, £13
Clarks
Matalan
BHS
Black spotty court heel shoe, £28
Everything 5 Pounds
