Can you guess?
Kate Middleton has always been a favourite of ours when it comes to style. Just this week she recycled one of her best looks by wearing a Barbara Casasola dress estimated at £1,580.
Since Meghan Markle was welcomed into the royal family, what she wears is constantly talked about.
But when it comes to who has more influential power in the world of fashion, who comes first?
Lyst carried out some research to see which royal comes out on top… and you may be surprised.
On average, Kate Middleton’s clothes lead to a 119 percent increase in online demand over the week following a public appearance, whereas Meghan Markle’s ensembles demand more than doubles, going up an average of 216 percent.
So far this year, Meghan’s most influential sartorial choice happened in March, when she wore a gorgeous silver and gold brocade dress to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Prince Charles’ Investiture at Buckingham Palace. Over the following 24 hours, her ensemble triggered a 500 percent rise in online demand for brocade dresses.
It looks like Meghan comes out on top with this one, but both women have gorgeous style and let’s be honest, we’d never say no to having a sneaky root through Kate’s wardrobe.
