We have been concentrating on workout wear for the past couple of weeks, from a basic gym kit to the right runners for your routine, we’ve got you covered.
This week, it’s gym bags, from the fits-all basic rucksack to a stylish office bag that somehow manages to fit all your exercise essentials, Mary Poppins style.
So the gym CAN be fun (when it involves fashion that is).
Rucksack, €10, at Penneys
Last week, we featured mint runners so why not go one step further and match your gym bag to your shoes. Pretty pastels are where it’s at for spring and there’s no reason your exercise gear can’t be as fashion forward as your everyday wardrobe.
Gym bag, €11 at Penneys
If you’re fond of a good print, you’ll love the fact that Penneys have introduced some cool prints to their workout range this season. This purple one is a good size, guaranteed to fit all your must-haves. Just pick it up before it sells out (in record time).
Adidas Women Stella Sport Tote, €44 at Lifestyle Sports
We’re slightly obsessed with the new Stella McCartney and Adidas collaboration and this grey tote is functional and stylish too. It will fit all your gym essentials and have you looking stylish at the same time, what’s not to love about that?! We advise snapping it up soon as this range is sure to sell out before long.
Brown Mipac Leopard Print Backpack, €33 at River Island
Leopard print rates highly among our favourite patterns, from scarves to shoes it’s a great way to add a little colour to your day-to-day style. This backpack is likely to have people asking where you bought it and as backpacks are all the range at the moment (see Mulberry for evidence) this style can double up as an everyday bag.
Sophia at Gymtote, €161
We are all over this idea, the Gymtote is a stylish office appropriate bag that carries all your gym gear at the same time, in secret compartments no less. If you’ve ever harboured a secret desire to do a Mary Poppins on it, this bag is for you. It is a little on the expensive side but considering it does two jobs for the price of one, we’re okay with splurging (this once).
