With the results of the EU Brexit referendum finally known, today is a grim day.
The Brexit vote to leave the EU has had consequences already for the British public, including political, financial and er… televisual downfall.
Another object to be affected by the British leave of the EU is the sudden downfall of the shopping site ASOS.
According to Metro, the shopping site and it’s accompanying app crashed yesterday evening and even this morning the site is still down.
Upon visiting the domain, the British fashion and beauty site holds a safety notice explaining the inconvenience.
The text on the site reads:
“Erm, ‘scuse us, we need a little time out. The site isn’t currently available but we’re doing everything we can to get it back up soon!”
The site’s Twitter account have been apologising and explaining to their customers the odd occurrence but there still looks to be no fixing of the problem.
Eek – looks like there’s a tech glitch with the site & app. Bear with us – the IT gurus are on it!

Many have conducted theories, claiming the disaster of the Brexit vote has debilitated the value of the pound, encouraging shoppers to take advantage of the situation.

Either way, ASOS shoppers online are not impressed and are getting slightly impatient at the unusually long interval of the site.
Why does asos crash when you need it the most?
