Kelly Osbourne welcomed her son Sidney in December 2022 but stayed out of the spotlight during her pregnancy.
Kelly Osbourne has opened up about why there are no public photos of her pregnancy and the reason why is heartbreaking. The mum revealed she was pregnant in May 2022, but kept a low profile during her pregnancy.
Announcing the news, Kelly said she was “over the moon”.
“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!” she shared.
However, she didn’t post about her pregnancy online because she was afraid of being fat-shamed.
The mum responded to one of her followers after they asked why there were no photos of her pregnancy.
She explained, “There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for nine months because I did not want to get fat-shamed.”
The reality star’s followers praised her for being so honest about why she didn’t post throughout her pregnancy.
“Kelly, you are stunning. Good for you, doing what makes you happy,” one said.
Another added, “You are stunning Kelly. People who fat shame have no heart.”
“I hope the privacy allowed you to have some peace while awaiting your little one,” another shared.
“You look amazing and sorry that you had to think of being fat shame, doing one of the most amazing time of your life carry a life!” another added.
