Matty Healy responds to Taylor Swift’s new album

Matty Healy briefly dated Taylor Swift

The Fortnight singer's relationship with The 1975 frontman sparked a lot of backlash this year, but it also inspired a lot of Swift's new album.

Many fans, myself included, expected the album to be about her former partner Joe Alwyn but her short-term relationship with Healy was the focus.

Paparazzi confronted the 35-year-old singer during the week, but he admitted he hadn't had a chance to listen to the album.

And who can blame him, it is over two hours long...

The paparazzi asked Healy what he thought about the diss track about him.

"My diss track? Oh! I haven’t really listened to that much of it, but I’m sure it’s good," he said.

The update comes after an insider said Healy is still proud of Swift.

"Matty’s family were worried that Taylor was going to rip him apart. Matty has struggled with life in the public eye, and he’s been doing really well, but the last thing that he needs is for every Swiftie in the world to think he’s a villain," the source added.
