Beyoncé’s nickname for Meghan Markle is actually just perfect

How sweet is this?

So last weekend, we all nearly fainted when real royalty and music royalty came together.

Yep, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, met Beyoncé and Jay Z at the premiere for The Lion King.

And the pictures brought us intense joy.

When Meghan and Queen Bey came face to face, they hugged, and Beyoncé greeted calling her “my princess”.

Isn’t that just the most perfect nickname?

Oh, Prince Harry and Jay Z, Beyonce’s husband, were also in attendance, but really, we were here for Meg and Bey.

This evening, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended #TheLionKing European premiere in London at the Odeon Theatre. It’s no secret that Beyonce and Jay Z have been big fans of the Duchess.

Beyonce’s adoration for the Duchess first came to light when she and Jay Z accepted a BRIT Award back in February.

The famous pair accepted the award via a video link, with a painting of Meghan wearing a crown behind them.

Casual.

In fact, they even bowed to the painting, while also thanking organisers for the award.

So yeah, meeting Meghan and The Lion King event was probably a pretty big deal for them.

During the meeting, Bey congratulated Meghan Markle on the birth of her new son, Archie.

Jay Z also offered the royal some pretty solid parenting advice, saying:

“The best advice I can give you, always find some time for yourself”.
