This time people are obsessed with a cheaper version of the Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume which typically costs between €150 - €465.

Not to say it's not worth the price, as the creation of Francis Kurkdjian, an iconic perfumer, it's completely understandable yet we're more about luxury on a student-like budget.

Even the story of its creation screams rich as Baccarat Rouge 540 was crafted after an encounter between the perfumer and the crystal manufacturer, Baccarat, to celebrate its 250th birthday.

Even reading that took €50 out of our bank accounts. With its notes of jasmine, and saffron complimented with cedarwood and amber it even sounds rich.

The fragrance has won numerous celebrity fans, from Rihanna to Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague but it's safe to say they have deeper pockets than most of us.

The perfume dupe is from & Other Stories and it it goes by the name De ja Vu Mood Eau de Toilette. 

It costs €30 for 50ml, and even though it's an eau de toilette so less concentrated than an eau de parfum like Baccarat Rouge 540, it's a superwearable scent.

You know a dupe is good when people on TikTok users have been ranting about how much it smells like the original.

This perfume in particular has notes of jasmine and saffron, but the brand has added hints of wild raspberry for a sweet, fruity finish.
