Benefit is bringing out a new version of one of its best-selling products

It's the news makeup lovers with dry skin have been waiting for.

Anyone who's ever tried out a few different primers will likely have tried cult favourite The Porefessional by Benefit.

'Hot' products come and go but this one has stuck around for years thanks to its thick consistency and serious staying power. If your skin is on the dry side, however, you might not have loved its original formula and could find all the hype a bit much.

It's designed with oily skin in mind; smoothing and minimising visible pores, which doesn't necessarily work for everyone. Thankfully, there'll soon be a new member of The Porefessional family. Say hello to The Porefessional Pearl Primer. It does the same job as the original in making your foundation last longer but is a more glowy, making it a much better choice for skin that's dull, dry or just looking a little bit tired. "This soft-radiance primer quickly minimises the look of pores, locks on makeup and helps the skin look bright, boosted and awake," claims Benefit. Sadly, we'll have to wait a while to give the Pearl Primer a go as it won't be available until early next year.
