If you haven’t seen this all over your Instagram feed, you’re missing out big time.
The khaki coloured quilted jacket from The Frankie Shop is it this season and like everyone else on social media, we’re dying to get our hands on it.
The only issue is, it’s a little bit on the pricey side, but if you can, treat yourself, you deserve it.
If you aren’t familiar with The Frankie Shop, you will be now. This is the brand that brought those shoulder-padded t-shirts into our lives, and they have easily the most stunning coat collection ever.
With autumn on its way out and winter quickly setting in, this coat is the perfect balance of chic and toasty, working with every type of look under the sun while keeping you warm.
It’s heavy enough to keep you warm when walking through cold, dark winter streets but not too heavy that it’ll have you sweating buckets the second you hop on the bus to work.
The original jacket from The Frankie Shop is so popular that it’s constantly needing to be restocked, but not to worry, we’ve found countless dupes you can still get your hands on.
Well, that’s a lie, not countless dupes, but four that are available on the high street that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and aren’t too far off the original look.
First up is this almost identical one from River Island. Honestly, if we squint even slightly we’d be convinced this is the same jacket.
Probably the most expensive of the dupes, this one is €127, which is still more than half the price of the €285 designer version.
With a slightly different shape but the same colour and detailing, this one from ASOS Design is a more budget-friendly version and looks just as warm and cosy.
At only €47.99, we’d opt for this one purely for that stunning oversized collar alone, that’s what dreams are made of.
With the same fit as The Frankie Shop coat only with a different pattern of stitching, we can obviously rely on Zara for having the perfect dupe.
For only €49.95, this jacket is reversible with ribbed cuffs to keep the heat in and a very flattering v-neck that suits every body type.
Similar to the Zara one, Mango has its own version with a similar shape but slightly different stitching, and a round neckline like the original.
Mango’s costs €59.99 and seems to be just as popular as the original. If you want to get your hands on this one, you’ll have to pop your email in to be notified for it coming back in stock, but by the looks of it, it will be back in stock.
