To have a long and luscious head of a hair is a wonderful thing. Most of the time. There are also those moments when it all gets too much and the temptation to chop it all off becomes overwhelming. The distress of this sight: A snapped hair tie is a very upsetting thing. And it happens to you all the time. All the feckin' time. 2. The shedding issue. When you've got long locks, you don't just have the pleasure of seeing them when you look in the mirror. Oh no. They're there for you to see on your carpet, in your sink, on your couch and just about everywhere else could possible imagine in your house. 3. It gets caught in everything. Bag straps, seatbelts, armpits, zips, necklaces. They're all things in which your hair gets caught. But hey, it happens to the best of us. 4. Keeping your shower drain unclogged... Is a full time job. And the people you share a bathroom with love to complain about the hair in the drain. Constantly. You actually think it's their favourite thing to complain about.
