Save, Steal Or Splurge – Guess Which You Can Bag For €33, €44 And €260

Can you tell which is which?

Cathy Donohue

We have been running a series over the last couple of months on the style staples that every woman should aim to invest in.

From the black blazer to a white shirt, tan tote bag to printed pants, maxi dress, brogues and midi-length full skirts to name but a few…we have it covered.

This week it’s the mini skirt and we have put together three options: the first is priced at €33, our second option is priced at €44 and you can bag the third for €216.

€33, at River Island

Pattern is everywhere this season and this jacquard style from River Island looks a lot more than a reasonably priced €33. The ornate print means it stands out in a sea of minis which are to be found all over the high street at the minute and the light shade is ideal for summer. A definite bargain.

€44, at Topshop

This lilac shade is oh so pretty and will look fresh and stylish when teamed with a crisp white blouse or pastel t-shirt. The scalloped hem is a lovely feature and while the ice-cream shade is suited to summer chic, the bouclé like material means it can be worn right through to winter.

€260, Theory at Harvey Nichols

Monochrome has been a fashion favourite for many years and we can’t see it fading anytime soon. While this skirt might be pricey in comparison to our other options, it is well worth the spend considering the wear you will get from it. Wear with opaques and ankle boots from autumn onwards and it’s an elegant option when teamed with strappy sandals for the summer season
