Autumn fashion is here – finally!
The weather may be dreary and cold, but that means we can crack out our favourite knits, leather trousers and jackets for the new season.
Muireann O’Connell donned a stunning black midi skirt on Ireland AM on Monday morning, and it’s a staple we all need.
The presenter took to her Instagram stories to let her followers know exactly where she purchased her full outfit from.
The gorgeous red jumper was from Ba&sh Paris in Seagreen, and her black satin midi skirt was a River Island buy.
The skirt is on sale at the moment on River Island, retailing for €24 and down from 40 quid and is a perfect transitional piece.
The midi skirt is ideal for bridging that cold/warm gap between summer and autumn, and can be paired with all kinds of tops, footwear and accessories to change things up.
Another trend being spotted everywhere at the moment is the cropped boxy knit, which would be stunning with a midi-skirt like this.
The cropped trend is going nowhere this autumn, and with options flooding the high street at the moment, you don’t need to shell out a fortune for a staple cropped knit.
