As it turns out, the Dublin-based business is exactly what it sounds like. Customers simply rent pieces, wear them and then send them back.
There are loads of beautiful brands to opt for, from Rixo and Maje to Realisation Par and Alice + Olivia.
We’ve seen Louise Cooney and Niamh Cullen both wearing pieces from Borrower Boutique.

The concept acknowledges our desire to have new clothes all the time but also recognises that we won’t wear some fancier pieces more than a few times – especially if we’ve taken photos in them.

With the fashion industry being one of the most polluting in the world, anything that helps us enjoy and share clothes and reduce the amount we buy is a major positive in our books.
