A girl can never have too many shoes.
Or at least that is what I tell myself as I stuff another pair of shoes into my wardrobe after a long day of shopping.
As Summer (sadly) starts to leave us the one thing we can look forward to is revisiting all our Autumn and Winter clothes, especially our shoes.
Here are the top five shoe trends you should look out for this Autumn.
1. Flower power boots
Flower embroidered jeans were everywhere in SS 2016. The trend slowly made its way south and onto our feet a few months ago, with embroidered heels popping into most high street shops. Now, finally, for Autumn we have embroidered boots. They are absolutely to die for.
2. Metallic beauties
Metallic shoes look set to go the distance this Autumn with most designers and high street stores continuing the trend for Autumn and Winter. These little beauties will brighten up even the cloudiest Irish day.

3. Statement heels
This Autumn we are all about statement heels, no not statement shoes, literally statement heels. Instead of going for an all out, in your face pair of embellished shoes instead, opt for this Autumn’s latest trend . They will go with so many more outfits this way.

4. Backless loafers
We wouldn’t have been caught dead in a pair of these a year ago but now backless loafers are set to make a massive comeback. Go for broke and try out a patterned pair like these gems from Topshop.
5. A taste of the exotic
Snakeskin is officially back. You can choose to work the look with a pair of pumps or boots, either way, they will look fab and just a little bit badass.
