YEEEEEEEEEAH.
‘Old Town Road’ is a tune.
It’s good in the club. It’s good in the office. It’s good on the old town road when you’re riding ’til you can’t no more.
The sound of the summer 2019 (yes) has been delighting people all around the world ever since it dropped, safely securing Lil Nas X as the most relevant country western rapper of the 21st century.
Great.
Now though, it appears as if the ‘Old Town Road’ hype is going to get even hypier, as Dolly Parton seems to have expressed interest in doing a bit of a collab.
Or at least, that’s what we are reading the fuck into via this tweet she sent.
Lil Nas X asked: “y’all think i can get dolly parton and megan thee stallion on a old town road remix?”
Dolly then shared the following:

Yes.
It’s happening.
Megan Thee Stallion has yet to respond to the request but to be honest, Dolly is far more impressive to achieve a collab with so whatever.
This comes after Lil Nas X completed three ‘Old Town Road’ remixes with Billy Rae Cyrus, Diplo, and Young Thug.
He later promised that there would no more remixes of the song, but when you’ve got such a banger under your belt it’s hard to resist.
