Guess they didn’t mean ‘Bye Bye Bye’ for good… and we’re v happy about it!

*NYSNC members; Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick are officially getting the band back together after 22 years.

The group are set to release a new song called ‘Take You to a Better Place,’ which will be featured in the upcoming Trolls Band Together film.

Fans don’t even have to wait to preview the new hit, as Dreamworks now featuresa clip of the song on their website. Officials at the animation studio also confirmed that it will be released on September 29th in full.

This marks the first time all five members of *NSYNC have been in the studio recording a new song together since their days at the top of the charts in the nineties and noughties.

Eagle-eyed fans had been speculating a return of the world famous boyband after posters for the new Trolls movie began popping up around New York with the band’s logo in tow.

Do we sense a Grammy in the making?

Timberlake previously released ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling‘ for the 2016’s Trolls movie, and he went on to win a Grammy as well as an Oscar nomination in the original song category.

The 42-year-old is also the voice behind a lead character in the Trolls film franchise, and it’s understood that the third installment of the film will feature a boy band-centric plot.

*NSYNC first burst onto the pop music scene in the late 90s, joining the boy band craze alongside 98 Degrees and the Backstreet Boys and enjoyed years of stardom before splitting up to pursue their own separate careers.

They released their self-titled debut album in 1998, and their turn-of-the-century followup album No Strings Attached saw major success on the Billboard charts.
