Good news for Guns N’Roses fans this morning as it looks like the band will reunite to play California festival Coachella in 2016.
According to Billboard, the founding members Axl Rose and Slash will be both involved, with the last show they played together being all the way back in 1993 in Argentina.
They will be headlining Coachella which is held over two weekends in April (15-17, 22-24) and are also rumoured to be negotiating a stadium tour of the USA.
Appetite For Destruction, the band’s debut remains the biggest selling debut record in American history, spending a staggering five weeks at Number One in the US charts.
It seems that relations between Slash and Axl have improved since 1993, when Rose was quoted as comparing the legendary guitarist to a ‘cancer’ after their acrimonious Use Your Illusion tour as reported by Rolling Stone.
