Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd has split from his partner of 15 years, Lauren Shippey.
Jack and Lauren, who have been together since they were 14, are now ‘over’ according to reports.
Both from Boothstown, Manchester, they are parents to Nyla (8) and Reuben (4).
The couple became engaged in 2011 when the actor popped the question with a £3,000 diamond ring.
The engagement news came a year after Jack had a one-night stand with Sammy Milewski, who later gave birth to Jack’s son Greyson, who is now aged five.
Greyson was born with Alternating Hemiplegia Of Childhood, a rare neurological disorder that can cause temporary paralysis.
A statement from the family’s spokesperson said:
“Jack and Lauren remain the best of friends and their main focus is the care of their children”.
Those closest to the pair believe there is a chance they will work through their differences and reunite down the line.
Another source told The Sun:
“They have been through a lot but are still young enough to sort themselves out for the future”.
