Prince Harry reportedly has enough material for a second book

Kat O'Connor

Prince Harry’s memoir was a bestseller but do readers really need another book?

Prince Harry’s memoir may have shot to the top of the bestseller list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was a hit with readers.

Many readers struggled to empathise with the royal, but that hasn’t stopped him from selling millions of copies.

The book sold millions of copies and now Prince Harry is even considering writing a second memoir.

Harry explained that he could’ve written two books because he had so much material for ‘Spare’.

He told The Telegraph: “The hard bit was taking things out.”

“There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know.”

Prince Harry admitted he doesn’t think his father or brother would forgive him for some of the potential material he has for a second book.

He told the publication, “I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”

Prince Harry also admitted that he feels somewhat responsible for what happens to Prince William’s two children.

He believes that one of William’s children will end up like him, the royal ‘spare’.

“William and I have talked about it once or twice, and he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility, I still feel a responsibility knowing that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare and that hurts, that worries me.”

Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ sold 3.2 million worldwide. According to the Guinness Records, it is the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time.
