Cardi B confirms she is single amid husband Offset’s cheating rumours

"I have been single for a minute now"

The couple sparked rumours of a split last week after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.

It turns out the rumours were true as the mum-of-two has revealed she is now officially single.

Addressing the speculation, the 'I Like It' rapper took to Instagram Live to clear things up.

"I don’t know if y’all have been getting clues from me from my live, I mean… or from my Instagram Stories, where I put certain music.

"When it comes to today’s events and stuff, I don’t think its true, I don’t care to find out because I have been single for a minute now. But I have been afraid to like… not afraid but I just don’t know how to tell the world. I feel like today has been like a sign.

"The last time I got on Live, I kind of wanted to tell you but I didn’t know how to tell you so I changed my mind. But this has been for a minute now and I just feel like this is a sign," she continued.

"So, I wanna start 2024 afresh… open. I am curious for a new life, for a new beginning. Yeah, I am excited."

The confession came after Offset denied all allegations from fellow rapper, Blueface, on X that claimed he cheated with his ex-girlfriend, reality TV star and rapper, Chrisean Rock.

In his now-deleted tweets, Blueface, wrote:

"Being tatted on a h** is not a flex you literally f***** cardi B husband couple weeks ago I’m tired of n***** looking at me while they f****** you get the rest of em gone asap please.

"Tried to keep yo secret but you keep popping it on these apps ima only state facts everytime … So you ain’t f*** cardi husband November 10th at 4am at their house in LA …I’m making this up ? … Post that time and date on they a** now everybody quiet."

Offset was quick to distance himself from the claims, responding with: "I ain't never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man you need some help!"

The former couple met in 2016 and have had their fair share of ups and downs, some of which in public, and this isn't the first time Offset has been at the centre of cheating allegations.

In January 2018, the rapper was accused of cheating on Cardi and making a sex tape with another woman.

However, Cardi responded in February 2018 after being on the receiving end of questions about why she stayed with her husband.

"It’s not right, what he f*cking did – but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel."

In October 2017, Offset also proposed to Cardi B on stage; they were already legally married at the time.

The pair share two children together;  daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 5, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2.
