No, no, NO…these leggings aimed at brides-t0-be are proving very controversial.
The idea that brides-to-be should lose weight before getting married seriously annoys us…as if you need to completely change your whole appearance before you’re worthy of walking up the aisle.
It really needs to stop and that’s part of the reason why people are so infuriated by the leggings currently on sale from You Statement.
The brand has created an entire range of leggings designed for women getting married and the slogans are likely to seriously annoy you.
‘Slimming down for the gown’, ‘gonna run that mile before I walk that aisle’, ‘I won’t quit until the dress fits’, and ‘gotta squat before you tie the knot’ are just some of the options featured on the website, according to Cosmopolitan UK.
Much like us, other people have expressed their dismay at the fact that these leggings aimed at women getting married are on sale and a few of them have taken to Twitter to share their outrage.
PP BUSINESS WATCH: youstatement leggings. THE most horrendous leggings I’ve ever seen. I actually feel fucking offended just looking at them pic.twitter.com/UUbMuhfklW

What do you think? Does the concept irritate you or could you see yourself wearing a pair?
