Is Voice UK finalist Lydia Lucy about to replace Fergie in the Black Eyed Peas?!

Rumours are rife that former VOICE UK contestant Lydia Lucy is set to replace Fergie in the Black Eyed Peas.

Fergie is currently promoting her solo album Double Duchess and Lydia has been performing with the band in recent weeks.

Lydia, who was mentored by will.I.am during the Voice UK, took to Instagram to share her delight at performing with the BEP at the Royal Albert Hall recently.

Although the reports haven’t been confirmed as of yet,m numerous sources have said that Lydia is likely to take over Fergie’s duties while she concentrates on her solo career.

A source told The Sun: “A deal is being worked out currently for Lydia to join the band to replace Fergie.”

“It is a trial for her to begin with, but everyone involved is confident that her position will become permanent and tours are being planned with her involved”.
