We want to live in the new Yrsa Daley-Ward & H&M leisurewear collection

Trine Jensen-Burke

Be honest – can you ever see us going back to whatever we wore before athleisure happened…?

I have to admit – I don’t know – especially since clapping eyes on the new Yrsa Daley-Ward & H&M collection, filled with literally everything I want to be living in right now.

In case you didn’t know, Yrsa Daley-Ward is one of the writers behind Beyoncé’s new film, Black Is King, and the talented poet has now teamed up with H&M on a loungewear collection that has that cool, mindful vibe we are living for right now. Made from more sustainable materials, the soft and comfy garments are embellished with Daley-Ward’s empowering words.

According to H&M, the collection celebrates self-care and female empowerment, something that resonates well with Daley-Ward.

“Both topics are extremely important to me. We have to be empowered to have the confidence to move through the world, to make work, to love others and achieve our dreams. Self-care goes hand in hand with empowerment. One cannot exist without the other. Nurturing yourself is one of the most important skills anyone can learn.”
