So there is a range of Disney Princess shoes … and they’re magical

How gorgeous are these?

They’re actually really wearable.

Ruthie Davis’ footwear range has become a firm favourite of celebs like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga since it launched in 2006.

But her newest collection may just be the fairest of them all.

The designer recently teamed up with Disney to launch a series of “power princess shoes”, with each edition of the collection inspired by 11 Disney princesses.

She kicked off the collection with Snow White, in honour of the 80th anniversary of the animated movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

She told The Hollywood Reporter:

“The Disney people saw my designs and asked if they could work with me directly, and the rest is history.

“I will cycle through the 11 Disney princesses as important princess milestones come up, from a film to a birthday or anniversary.”

The eight magical designs in the Snow White collection aren’t on sale just yet, but can pre-ordered through Ruthie Davis’ website.

The website says that any pre orders will be shipped between January 15 and January 30, 2018.

The shoes, which are priced between $498 (€422) and $798 (€678), will also be available at Fred Segal’s in Los Angeles on January 15.

And there’s already another Disney Princess capsule line hitting shelves next year.

In Fall 2018, Disney fans can expect to see some fancy footwear inspired by Fa Mulan, of the animated Disney film Mulan.

Ms Davis added:

“I’ve already designed the collection, which will come out next fall to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Princess Mulan, and we’re in the prototype phase.

“The inspiration is much more integrated. I don’t want people to say, ‘That’s a Mulan shoe’ but to wonder what the inspiration is.

“There are dragons and Asian details that are not so literal, and there will definitely be a jogger and a wedge sneaker in the line. I’m going to make each collection unique to that princess and it’s not going to follow any formula.

“Mulan is very strong and courageous, determined, really independent. She’s a warrior and the epitome of don’t-mess-with-me girl power versus Snow White, who is a little sweeter and more innocent as she is a princess from 80 years ago.”
