Save, Steal Or Splurge – See Which You Can Bag For €16, €40 And €180

Can you guess which is which?

Cathy Donohue

This series is all about bringing you the best for your budget: so whether you have €30 or €300 to spend, we have something to suit.

This week we’re focusing on midi skirts and have included three different looks at three different prices: two are from the high street and one is high end.

It’s always fun to see if you can tell the cheap option from the more expensive and you might even be pleasantly surprised to see what each one works out at.

€16 (reduced from €32), Love Label at Littlewoods Ireland

We can’t get over the brilliance of this particular bargain! It’s a steal at €32 but it’s now half that which is pretty amazing. Pair it with a simple white blouse for day or up your fashion game with a bright print. Snap it up soon as we see it selling out pretty quickly.

€40, at River Island

A neutral midi skirt is a sensible buy, for the amount of times you wear it, this piece will soon pay for itself. Pair it with a simple black vest for casual wear or with a blouse for a office appropriate look. €40 won’t put too much of a dent in your bank balance either so get shopping while it’s in stock!

€180, Max Mara Studio at Brown Thomas

This Max Mara skirt is a classic piece which won’t date. We can pretty much guarantee that this will form the basis of your autumn winter wardrobe for many seasons to come. Pair this with a tailored shirt for a timeless look or add a printed crop top for a night out. Yes, it’s pricier but it’s well worth it.
