It’s SO cold out there lately.
The weather has been a bit all over the place lately. And we’ll admit it: for a while, we were hopeful that it was time to finally pack away our fluffy jumpers and break out our colourful spring wardrobe.
But, sadly, the wintry weather has well and truly returned. And no matter how thick of a coat or scarf we wear, it feels like we are never warm enough.
And with the weather looking to get colder and colder for the next few days, we’re back to dreaming of those sun-soaked days – and the colourful wardrobe that comes with it.
We are buying more sensibly at the moment and are only trying to pick up pieces we know we’ll get a lot of wear out of, that will go with items we have already and that will last us for the seasons (and years) to come.

We absolutely adore the deep blue colour – and it’s the kind of piece that would work for just about every season (just add tights and a cosy jumper in the autumn and winter).

Another New Look piece that has caught our eye is this green floral puff sleeve mini dress – which is one of those pieces that we know we would be getting a lot of wear out of once the warmer weather hits.
