And there was another big winner in tonight’s draw, as someone else scooped up the EuroMillions Plus’ top prize.
The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus – which had a €500,000 jackpot – were: 6, 16, 27, 30 and 49.
The National Lottery haven’t confirmed where that ticket was sold just yet, only mentioning on the official lottery site that it was sold in the south.
The jackpot for the main EuroMillions draw has been rolling over since early June, when someone in the UK won €138,716,863.
And while Irish players haven’t had a lotto luck in the main draw, there have been a number of winners of the EuroMillions Plus over the last few weeks – in fact, there were five in the month of June.
A player in Cork won €500,000 on June 28, with two more winners – one in Dublin and one in the south – on June 14.
Another two winners, in Cork and Louth, scooped up the prize on June 11.
