She had been working at the bar for many years before the harrowing attack.

The New York attack completely broke the hearts of Sarah’s loved ones in New York and Ireland.

They gathered to pay their respects in Longford this morning.

According to The Independent, Fr Michael McGrath said locals are completely stunned by the attack.

Sarah has been described as someone who was larger than life. Others described her as “special” and a “force to be reckoned with”.

Sarah McNally was reportedly stabbed by her former partner Marcin Pieciak. He suffered self-inflicted wounds during the attack.

Following the attack, a spokesman for the NYPD stated: “On Saturday, March 30, 2024, at approximately 18:34 hours, police responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress at 69-56 Grand Avenue within the confines of the 104 Precinct.

“Upon arrival (at the Céilí House Irish pub on Grand Avenue in Maspeth), police observed a 41‑year-old female with a stab wound to the neck and an unidentified male with a stab wound to the back and neck.
