It may go by the same title as Hozier’s phenomenal breakout single, but Sinead O’Connor has revealed a brand new track, ‘Take Me To Church’.
The single is due to be the first release from her new album, ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss’, the follow up to Sinead’s 2011 critically acclaimed album, ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’.
This is the tenth studio album from O’Connor, however is the initial musical offering under her new record label, Nettwerk Records.
Yesterday, Sinead premiered the track on NPR, and we’ll not lie, we have had it on repeat since.
In recent years O’Connor has been making headlines for everything other than her phenomenal song writing ability, thankfully that has now changed. She returns in all her glory with ‘Take Me To Church’ as one of the country’s greatest musical talents.
The album is due to hit shelves August 8th and ‘Take Me To Church’ is available to buy on iTunes.
