The Bray singer was nominated in the Best Song Musically And Lyrically for Take Me To Church and beat off competition from Above the Clouds of Pompeii by Bear Den and I Forget Where We Were by Ben Howard to take the prize this afternoon.
The win tops off a great week for the Someone New singer, who picked up the Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song gongs at the Billboard Music Awards and recently featured in a fashion spread for US Vogue alongside Caroline Trentini.
