Alright, rude.
If there’s one thing we don’t like happening at the end of a movie, it’s being called a slut.
It’s rude, it’s unnecessary, it’s severely unfeminist – just not on really.
And in general, you wouldn’t really expect the movie itself to call its viewer a slut before the credits start to roll and yet here we are – it’s happened and we are powerless to stop it.
The ‘slut’ in question appeared at the very end of the Swedish version of Finding Dory on Netflix and Twitter user Luke Mathews was quick to point out that it was “the greatest movie moment in cinema history.”

Beautiful.
Just beautiful.
There’s no need to get offended though because there’s actually a pretty stable reason as to why the word ‘slut’ appeared at the end of the movie.
Because ‘slut’ roughly translates into ‘the end.’
Unfortunate… and yet also brilliant.
Twitter users then began taking it upon themselves to inform Luke of other places where the ‘slut/end’ issue arose in Sweden.
As it turns out, there was a lot of them.

My daughter has a Disney Princess book in Swedish. It makes reading about princesses a little more fun for adults. pic.twitter.com/1q2GAPEoQK

Seems like a decent place to live, in fairness.
