Add us as a preferred source on Google »So many current beauty and lifestyle trends stem from the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. We may try to ignore or dismiss their influence but there's no doubting the power they have on society, fashion, and our lifestyles.
They inspire, encourage, and empower women, but some of the biggest stars are also guilty of manipulating, pressuring, and spreading toxic standards.
We are all too aware of just how popular Ozempic has become in recent months with well-known celebrities having swift physical transformations, and others presenting with the most gaunt-like appearances on the cover of TMZ.
One celebrity that has been extremely vocal about Ozempic is Kelly Osbourne but she is now shutting down claims that she took the drug.
She told People that she has certainly taken her weight loss "too far" but stressed that she has reportedly never taken Ozempic.
"I don’t know what Ozempic does to you other than what I saw it do to my mom. I think that it is the miracle drug in the right hands," she wrote.
Osbourne believes that people hate on Ozempic because they aren't able to access it.
In February, the reality star said: "There are a million ways to lose weight why not do it through something that isn’t as boring as working out."
"People hate on it because they want to do it and the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can’t afford it."
The hatred towards Ozempic isn't because we can't afford or access it. People are angry because celebrities are abusing a drug that helps diabetes patients.
Hollywood's elite are using their status and immense wealth as a quick fix for weight loss, but the medication is there to help those with serious conditions like diabetes.
There are now shortages because of how Hollywood has turned Ozempic into another fad. That's why there is so much uproar about it not because us normal folk can't afford it.
Kelly's complete dismissal of how Ozempic has been glamourised is simply disheartening to see.
We can all firmly agree that celebrities do not use their fame for good but seeing someone like Kelly Osbourne completely mock the Ozempic crisis proves we have so far to go.
