Well if you’re a lady who likes to take control of the (sexual) situation, this isn’t the best news for you.
A girl on top may be one of life’s most common sexual positions, but it’s also the most dangerous according to Brazilian researchers.
So why interrupt some uptown funk?
Well it seems half of all penile fractures sustained during sex came from a woman’s body pressure coming down on top of some pretty delicate manhood.
*We winced at the fracture bit too*
Researchers claim the main reason behind this is because the woman controls the penis with her entire body weight landing on it and is unable to interrupt it when it suffers a ‘wrong way penetration’.
The research also claimed that women will normally continue in the moment as they feel no pain, but for the man. Well we’re sure you can hear the roar through the walls next door (and not for the right reasons).
If you’re a safety lady (and we of course mean positions, because safe sex shouldn’t be a question), then opt for the missionary, which proved the most careful way for couples to get it on.
So, sorry ladies, it seems Queen Bey might have been spreading a few white lies…
