Who is Alice McGrath? The Tyrone teen gracing the runways of Paris Fashion Week

Nineteen-year-old, Alice McGrath from Omagh in County Tyrone, is taking the fashion world by storm.

Alice graced the runway for Dior during Paris Fashion Week, marking a pivotal moment in her modelling career at the world-renowned fashion house’s 2024 show. 

Not only is she making waves in runway modelling, but she also stars in the latest advertising campaign for the luxury brand.

Alice’s journey to stardom started when she was scouted on social media in early 2021. This led to her signing with the IMG modelling agency, which represents her in Paris, Milan, and London. 

As well as this, Alice inked a deal with Uno Models in Barcelona, solidifying her international presence in the fashion world.

Her debut runway appearance for JW Anderson at the SS24 show during London Fashion Week garnered widespread attention and has since catapulted her into the spotlight. 

Reflecting on the surreal experience with the Irish Times, Alice reminisced about the anticipation of her friends watching her performance while still in school.

Alice then opened Dior’s haute couture show in Paris, thrusting her into the realm of ultra-elite fashion design. 

Haute couture, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and opulent materials, served as the perfect showcase for Alice’s flourishing talent.

Since then, Alice has graced the pages of renowned fashion publication The Face and strutted the runway for brands like 16Arlington and Erdem. 

Her other appearances include walking for Chanel during the Metiers d’Art show in Manchester and gracing the runway for the French fashion house’s SS24 haute couture collection.

Despite her meteoric rise, Alice remains grounded, regularly engaging with her growing fanbase on social media platform TikTok. 

With her sights set on conquering the fashion world, Alice is an unstoppable force that you’re bound to hear much more about in years to come.
