“I looked like Finding Nemo.”
Tulisa joined Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain to promote her new single, Sweet Like Chocolate.
While on the show they got talking about the ‘rocky’ time in her life, which Tulisa then refers to as her “blackout period”. She said that it was part of life and has made her into who she is today.
When asked about her sex tape she said it was something that she definitely regretted saying, “I wasn’t actually that famous at the time, to be fair, and obviously, if you’re in a relationship with someone for two years your trust them.”
They also asked about some of the cosmetic enhancements she’s had done, including lip fillers. Tulisa opened up about her reasons for getting them and explained that one time she had an allergic reaction which made her look like Finding Nemo.
She said:
“It was fillers and I had an allergic reaction and looked like Finding Nemo. They were all temporary so they disolve and I did actually disolve some myself, apart from my lips, I like keeping my lips.”
Susanna then asked if she feels pressure to have it done and she replied:
“It does frustrate me a little bit, because I do understand from an outside point of view, someone looking in must go, “Well why did you try to do that in the first place? Are you unhappy with yourself, have you got issues?” And I feel pretty detached from this, this for me is a shell.
“The person that I am inside is very separate to me from this and beauty is always going to be part of my business and there were points where I was like “yeah I can do this and do that”, and yeah, you can get a bit carried away, and then obviously I had the reaction and it was like ooh what have I done.”
