Seth and Summer from The OC just reunited and the photo is adorable

Our favourite fictional couple from the noughties just shared a selfie together and we can't cope.

Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody, who played Seth and Summer on The OC, were briefly reunited when they ran into one another at the airport. Rachel shared a snap of the pair to Instagram, giving fans a glimpse at what 30-something Seth and Summer might look like. Fans of the show immediately flooded her comments, with many sharing references from the show.

"Princess Sparkle and Captain Oats forever," wrote one. "My heart just exploded. “Alexa, play Phantom Planet," commented another.

The photo also had lots of fans talking about a potential reunion. It's been over 12 years since the teen drama ended so we'd love to see how the Newport Beach gang are all getting on now. While any updated version of The OC obviously wouldn't include the full original cast (no spoilers), we know Rachel would be up for it. Speaking in 2017, she said;

"I don't know what it would look like with our characters being old now. We were riding skateboards on the pier; I don't know what they do now as 30-year-olds. But it would be nice to see everybody again."
