Tonight’s X Factor results show was an eventful one as Monica Michael and Max Stone were voted off.
It’s the way in which the results were delivered that has people talking because presenter Olly Murs made a rather unfortunate mistake.
The former X Factor contestant blurted out that Monica was leaving even though the judges had decided that she and Anton Stephans would fight it out in ‘Deadlock’.
Olly told Monica had been voted off before the results envelope was opened and Twitter couldn’t actually cope with what happened.

Olly has tweeted his apologies and proving what a lovely guys he is, former host Dermot O’Leary tweeted back telling him “to keep the head up”. CUTE.
